4 Garrison and RMU were crowned joint champions of the Asogli 2023 Tennis competition.
Other teams that participated included the host Ho Tennis Club, Goldfields Tarkwa Tennis Club, RMU Tennis Club, and 4 Garrison Tennis.
The vibrant competition showed the abilities of the competing teams and included exciting matches in three men’s doubles, one women’s doubles, and one mixed doubles.
4 Garrisons Tennis Club defeated Ho Tennis Club in the opening semifinal, winning three of the five games that were played.
RMU also defeated Goldfields Tarkwa Tennis Club in the second semifinal, paving the way for an enthralling final matchup between RMU and 4 Garrisons.
Since the final couldn’t come on due to the bad weather, RMU and 4 Garrisons were both announced as joint winners.
With its display of local talent and enthusiasm for tennis, the tournament unquestionably made an impression that will last a lifetime.
With the desire to keep advancing the sport, developing talent, and fostering unity, expectations for upcoming editions are still high.
