Professor Naail Mohammed Kamil from the School of Business at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has called on Muslims to prioritize peace and unity during the month of Ramadan.

Highlighting the importance of upholding Islamic values, Professor Kamil emphasized the need for Muslims to refrain from acts of gangsterism and immorality, and instead focus on personal growth and positive contributions to society.

He stressed the significance of unity, togetherness, and brotherhood in fostering societal development, urging Muslims to exemplify these qualities for the greater good.

At an inter-University Quranic Quiz competition held at KNUST, Professor Kamil underscored the importance of academic and financial empowerment for Muslims, urging them to steer clear of negative influences.

Mukadas Adamu, President of the Ghana Muslim Students Association (GSMA) at KNUST, echoed the call for adherence to Islamic teachings during Ramadan.

He emphasized the need for Muslims to demonstrate love and affection towards one another, recognizing the month as a time for spiritual growth and community support.
