President John Dramani Mahama is set to embark on a nationwide tour aimed at inspecting ongoing government projects and assessing development progress across the country.
The initiative, dubbed the “Resetting Ghana Tour,” is expected to begin on Tuesday, March 18, starting in the Bono Region. The tour forms part of efforts by the presidency to strengthen oversight of public projects and ensure effective implementation of government programmes.
During the tour, the President will visit several project sites across various regions. He is also expected to engage with regional authorities, traditional leaders, and local stakeholders to assess the status of development initiatives and address concerns raised by communities.
Officials say the exercise will enable the President to obtain first-hand information on the progress of key projects and identify challenges affecting their completion. The engagements are also intended to strengthen accountability and ensure that government interventions are delivering the intended benefits to citizens.
The nationwide inspection tour is part of the administration’s broader “Resetting Ghana” agenda, which focuses on improving governance, accelerating infrastructure development, and enhancing public service delivery.
The tour is expected to continue across several regions in the coming weeks as the President evaluates development projects and interacts with local communities nationwide.
