In a bid to bolster transparency and accountability in the implementation of infrastructure projects nationwide, the government has announced the launch of the Performance Tracker.

Slated for Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, the launch will take place at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Accra.
The Performance Tracker is a pioneering platform designed to address longstanding concerns regarding the accuracy and reliability of information presented to the public regarding infrastructure developments.

One of the key issues it aims to tackle is the prevalent use of artist’s impressions, which often fail to accurately depict the final outcomes of projects.
By providing real-time data and progress updates, the Performance Tracker will serve as a robust mechanism for showcasing the actual progress and impact of infrastructure initiatives across the country.

This initiative is poised to instil trust and confidence among citizens by offering transparent insights into the execution of various projects.
The launch event will be a significant milestone in the government’s commitment to promoting transparency and accountability.
It will be attended by high-ranking officials, stakeholders, and representatives from various sectors.

With the introduction of the Performance Tracker, Ghana takes a bold step towards enhancing governance practices and fostering greater public engagement in the development process.
This initiative signifies the government’s dedication to fostering trust, credibility, and efficiency in the execution of infrastructure projects for the betterment of the nation and its citizens.
