The Black Challenge, as they are affectionately known, showcased their indomitable spirit by coming from behind to clinch the title, thus defending their AFCON crown from two years ago.
This remarkable achievement adds to Ghana’s growing list of accolades in amputee football.
The team also holds the prestigious title of champions from the Africa Paralympic Football tournament held in 2023.
