Emma Raducanu fought off a late push from Diane Parry of France to secure Great Britain’s spot in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals.

Raducanu rallied from being a set down to holding a 5-2 lead in the third set and had two match points while serving before Parry’s strong comeback.

Despite the challenge, Raducanu stayed composed and triumphed 4-6 6-1 7-6 (7-1), giving Britain an insurmountable 3-1 lead in Le Portel.

Earlier, Katie Boulter defeated Clara Burel 7-5 6-0, putting Great Britain in the lead.

It was an impressive win for Britain, facing a formidable French team that combined clay-court experience with youthful energy.

Raducanu led the charge for Britain, making comebacks in both her singles matches to defeat French top player Caroline Garcia on Friday and then Parry.

Raducanu’s victory on Saturday followed a resilient performance by Boulter, who bounced back from a tough loss to Parry to convincingly beat Burel.
