Cole Palmer, the dynamic attacking midfielder, has clinched the prestigious Hublot Young Player of the Season award for his outstanding performances throughout the 2023/24 campaign.

Since his move from Manchester City to Chelsea last summer, Palmer, now 22, has made a remarkable impact on the Premier League.

In a season filled with brilliance, Palmer’s contributions have been nothing short of phenomenal.

Palmer has been directly involved in an impressive 32 goals contribution, a feat that places him at the top alongside the league’s best.

Notably, Palmer becomes only the third player in Premier League history, alongside legends like Robbie Fowler and Chris Sutton, to achieve over 30 goal involvements at the age of 21 or younger.

Standing out as the league’s second-highest scorer with an impressive tally of 22 goals, Palmer is chasing the Castrol Golden Boot currently held by Erling Haaland of Manchester City.

Additionally, his 10 assists place him joint-second in the Castrol Playmaker race, showcasing his versatility and playmaking prowess.

Palmer’s exceptional season doesn’t end there.

He joins a group of players, including the likes of Ollie Watkins, Mohamed Salah and Anthony Gordon, who have achieved double figures in both goals and assists.

Moreover, he has equaled the Chelsea record for most home Premier League goals in a season, matching legends Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard.

This recognition marks a historic moment for Palmer as he becomes the first Chelsea player to win the Hublot Young Player of the Season award since its inception.

His stellar performances also put him in contention for the EA SPORTS Player of the Season award, making him a strong candidate for a double accolade.
