The Ghana national team, the Black Stars, is scheduled to leave for Bamako on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, for their FIFA World Cup Matchday 3 qualifier against Mali.
Otto Addo’s squad has been undergoing training in Accra for the past four days in preparation for the crucial match in Bamako.
The team is aiming to recover from their lackluster start to the qualifiers, having secured a 1-0 victory against Madagascar but suffered a 1-0 defeat to Comoros in November last year.
They are heading into the game seeking their first win in five matches across all competitions, which includes two losses and three draws.
The Black Stars are set to face the Eagles of Mali on Thursday, June 6, followed by a match against the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, June 10, 2024.
