Ghana were held in a captivating 2-2 draw against Egypt in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, leaving fans on the edge of their seats.

Two goals from Mohammed Kudus was not enough to hand Ghana’s first win in the tournament.

Despite making three changes to the squad following their previous loss to Cape Verde, Ghana’s head coach, Chris Hughton, must have been pleased with the performance of star player Mohammed Kudus.

Kudus, returning to the starting lineup, made a significant impact with a brilliant goal just before halftime, giving Ghana the lead.

However, Egypt fought back, and Omar Marmoush took advantage of a mistake by Inaki Williams to level the score in the 69th minute.

Kudus once again showcased his prowess, scoring a beautiful goal from close range to put Ghana back in the lead within two minutes.

Another another defensive error once again provided Mostafa Mohamed the chance to equalize in the 73rd minute.

This result has left many Ghanaians sad and devastated and hope the team can make it to the next phase of the competition.

Black Stars will face Mozambique in their last group game at the Stade Alassane Ouattara in Ebimpe on 22nd January, 2024.
