Real Madrid has officially introduced Kylian Mbappe, the French international, in a grand ceremony at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, July 16.
Approximately 80,000 fans filled the stadium to witness Mbappe’s highly anticipated debut.
Mbappe joined Real Madrid as a free agent after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
Earlier on Tuesday, he underwent a thorough medical examination, which he successfully passed, before proceeding to sign his official contract at the Bernabeu offices.
Addressing the crowd in Spanish during his presentation, Mbappe expressed his commitment to giving his best for the club and its badge, amidst chants of his name from the enthusiastic fans.
He also imparted advice to young supporters in attendance, encouraging them never to give up on their dreams.
Club President Fiorentino Perez reflected on Mbappe’s earlier visit to the Bernabeu as a teenager in 2012 and his subsequent tour of Valdebebas, orchestrated by Zinedine Zidane, who was also present at the ceremony.
