The suspect in the Ahmed Suale murder has been charged with abetment to commit a crime, to wit murder.
This follows the Prosecution ammending the charge sheet against Daniel Owusu Koranteng, who appeared in court today, April 2 2025.
Daniel Owusu Koranteng, who has been on remand since his arrest, is accused of publicly sharing images of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale before his death.
He was also allegedly present at the crime scene at the time of the killing in January 2019.
Initially charged with murder when he was first arraigned on March 19, the prosecution has now revised the charges to include abetment to murder as of Wednesday.
Following this update, the court has further remanded him into custody, with the case adjourned to April 17 for further proceedings.
