The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that its National Chairman, Stephen Ntim, has temporarily stepped aside from the party’s ongoing nationwide ‘Thank You Tour’ to address pressing matters.

In a statement issued on Thursday, May 1, and signed by the party’s Director of Communications, Richard Ahiagbah, the NPP assured members and the public that Mr. Ntim remains fully committed to the tour and will rejoin the team soon.

“The New Patriotic Party wishes to inform all members and the public that the National Chairman has taken a short break from the ongoing nationwide ‘Thank You tour’ to attend to some pressing matters,” the statement read.

The party expressed appreciation to its members for their continued support and enthusiasm, emphasizing the importance of unity and dedication as the tour progresses.

The nationwide tour, approved by the NPP’s National Council, follows the party’s defeat to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general elections.

It is aimed at thanking supporters and the general public for their loyalty during the electoral process, while also fostering party unity and recognizing divine guidance.
