The Ministry of Education has officially announced the 2024/25 placement results for Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
According to a statement from the Ministry, the placement process reviewed 563,339 results submitted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), with 553,155 candidates meeting the qualifications for placement. Among these, 447,698 candidates—representing 80.93% of qualified students—were automatically placed into one of their selected schools.
However, 104,918 qualified candidates were not successfully matched with any of their initial choices. These students are encouraged to utilize the Self-Placement platform, where they can choose an available school that suits their needs.
Qualified students are instructed to access their placement status by visiting the official Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) websites at www.cssps.gov.gh.
For any placement-related concerns, the Ministry has set up a National Solution Centre at GNAT Hall in Adabraka, Accra, along with support centers across all 16 regions.
