Jordan Ayew, the Black Stars striker, has completed his transfer from Crystal Palace to Leicester City, continuing his Premier League career.

Ayew joins on a two-year contract from Crystal Palace in a deal worth an initial £5m.

Leicester City Football Club announced on their official website, “We are delighted to confirm the signing of experienced striker Jordan Ayew from Crystal Palace on a two-year deal, pending FA and Premier League approval.”

Ayew, who played a significant role at Crystal Palace, initially joined the club on loan in August 2018 and made the move permanent in July 2019.

During his time at Selhurst Park, he made 212 appearances, scored 23 goals, and provided 22 assists across all competitions.

“I’m very happy to be here and I’m proud. I want to thank the Club for their efforts in bringing me here—it happened quickly, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it,” Ayew said with enthusiasm.

Leicester City, who won the Championship after being relegated the previous season, have secured their place back in the Premier League and are looking to make a strong impact.
