The newly appointed Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has vowed to uphold professionalism and discipline within the Ghana Police Service.
Speaking at his swearing-in ceremony on Friday, March 14, at the Jubilee House, COP Yohuno assured Ghanaians of his commitment to strengthening law enforcement and rebuilding public trust.
“I take on this responsibility with the utmost seriousness, fully aware of the high expectations that come with it. In line with the transformation and modernisation of the service, I pledge to uphold the values, traditions, and culture of the Ghana Police Service,” he stated.
He also stressed that his leadership would be guided by discipline and respect for seniority within the police hierarchy, aligning with President Mahama’s resetting agenda.
