Brighton & Hove Albion have agreed to loan Ibrahim Osman to Dutch Eredivisie club Feyenoord for the upcoming season.

The 19-year-old Ghanaian, who signed a five-year contract with Brighton this summer after joining from Danish team FC Nordsjaelland, appeared in a few matches during the Premier League pre-season.

To aid his development, Osman will spend the season at Feyenoord. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the loan does not include a buy option, and Brighton will cover Osman’s full wages.

Osman is scheduled to undergo a medical on Tuesday, with his official presentation planned for Wednesday.

During his time in Denmark, Osman impressed with six goals and seven assists in 26 games.

This loan move is viewed as a chance for Osman to gain significant experience, following a path similar to Brighton players Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra, who also benefited from loan spells before securing spots in the first team.
