Ghanaian youngster Abdul Aziz Issah has received a nomination for the 2024 CAF Inter-club Player of the Year award.
He shares this honor with his Dreams FC teammate John Antwi, making them the only Ghanaians in the running.
Issah was recognized by CAF as one of Africa’s top young talents, finishing as the leading scorer in last season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
He scored four goals and provided two assists in 10 matches, playing a key role in Dreams FC’s historic journey to the semi-finals.
Antwi also contributed with four goals and served as the team captain throughout the campaign.
After the season, Abdul Aziz Issah signed with FC Barcelona’s B team and is now looking forward to his debut.
He is the second Ghanaian to join Barcelona this summer, following David Oduro’s transfer from Accra Lions.
