The Ghana Police Service has applauded the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and their supporters for their cooperation in ensuring the peaceful and successful conclusion of their final rallies in Accra on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
In a statement, the Police also expressed gratitude to the general public, particularly motorists, for their patience and understanding during traffic diversions and roadblocks implemented to manage the large crowds at the rallies.
The Police Administration commended the professionalism and dedication of officers deployed to maintain law and order during the events. As the nation heads to the polls tomorrow, December 7, 2024, the Police urged all stakeholders to exhibit discipline, unity, and patriotism to ensure a peaceful election process.
