New Barcelona defender David Oduro who was announced last week as a Barcelona Atleti player has shared his admiration for his soon-to-be teammate Alejandro Balde.
The Ghanaian, who signed a three-year contract with the Spanish club from Accra Lions this summer, was officially presented earlier today following a successful trial.
In a recent interview with , the 18-year-old expressed his enthusiasm about starting his career in Spain.
“Alejandro Balde is my role model. I look up to him and hope to learn from him,” Oduro said.
He added, “If things go well, I’ll be competing with him, which would be amazing because I’ve always admired his play.”
Oduro joins another Ghanaian, Abdul Aziz Issah, who has also signed with Barcelona on loan from Dreams.
