A German coach is scheduled to conduct a girls’ basketball clinic next week, aiming to empower young women in the sport.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, along with the Ghana Basketball Association, has shown support by providing technical assistance and facilitating the involvement of other federations.
Despite the challenges in organizing the event such as basketball’s developing status in Ghana and Africa compared to its global ranking, support from brands like Glico, GTS Drilling and Indomie has been instrumental in raising funds for this initiative.
In a thrilling precursor match to the finals, Legon Basketball team will face off against Ghana Communication Technology University (Ghana), which promises to be an exciting showdown.
