Mark your calendars, movie enthusiasts! The highly anticipated Ghanaian film, “Time,” is set to premiere at Snap Cinemas in Accra on Friday, August 30, 2024. Directed by the talented Judith Afua Ampofo, this gripping story promises to keep audiences engaged from start to finish.
The film’s synopsis follows the life of Noah, a man who is sentenced to 25 years in prison for killing Rose. In a heartbreaking turn of events, Noah leaves behind his beloved wife and daughter. To fight for his freedom, Noah’s family sells all their properties, only to find themselves struggling to survive in the slums of Gbawe.
The story delves into the challenges faced by Noah’s wife, a woman who has never held a job. As she navigates the harsh realities of joblessness, she finds herself turning to her only rich but “emotionally unstable” friend for support. However, could she possibly find solace in the arms of her daughter’s home teacher?
When Noah finally returns from prison, the question remains: will his wife still feel the same way about him? The answers to these questions and more await moviegoers at the premiere.
