Grammy Award-winning Rapper, Drake, has announced that he was taking a break from his music career.
Speaking on Friday during his SiriusXM radio show, “Table for One”, he said: “I need to focus on my health first and foremost.”
Drake, who released his new album, ‘For All The Dogs’, revealed that he has had stomach issues for years now, hence his decision.
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit, I’m gonna be honest.
“Nothing crazy, but just like, you know, I want people to be healthy in life, and I’ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach.
“I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit.
“I don’t even know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little longer,” Drake stated.
The hotline bling rapper was scheduled to perform concerts in Toronto, his hometown, this Friday and Saturday night.
However, shows scheduled for after the weekend have been postponed, according to the tour section of Drake’s website.
