The duo will now prepare for the finals of the competition on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

Their qualification marks a historic achievement for Ghana on a global stage as such.

BGT confirmed the final spot for the talented Ghanaian dancers on its Instagram handle on Thursday, May 30.

“Your votes have sent Abigail & Afronitaaa straight through to Sunday’s FINAL! Congratulations!,” BGT said.

This was after both were officially announced as semifinalists in the Britain’s Got Talent on Thursday, May 30.

The talented dancers sailed through to the finals of the competition after an awesome semi-final performance on Thursday night.

They danced to Fuse ODG’s Azonto, Beyonce’s Run The World, Toofan’s Gweta and other songs to wow the judges leaving them with nothing but a yes to confirm their qualification to the finals.

Afronitaa and her protege, Abigail have made Ghanaians proud who have already begun flooding social media with congratulatory messages rooting for a win of the prize in the finals of the competition.

About month ago, both dancers received a standing ovation after wowing Ghanaians and audience at the BGT with an exceptional performance during their audition.

Their video instantly went viral, inspiring pride and enthusiasm among Ghanaians and subsequently sailing through the next stage of the competition with another excellent performance with Fuse ODG’s ‘Antenna’ song.

Afronitaa recently opened her dance academy to teach aspiring young dancers while her partner, a deaf dancer, seven-year-old Abigail won Talented Kid’s season 14 with her extraordinary talent.
