Fijai, Western Region – April 13, 2025 – The third stop of the CroXItOut Campaign for 2025 took place on Saturday, April 12th, at Fijai Senior High School, with a robust line-up of speakers and an enthusiastic audience of young minds eager to learn and grow.

This impactful outreach program featured Dr. Esi Eyison, a seasoned senior medical officer at Essikado Hospital and resident anaesthetist, who led a compelling health session on breast cancer awareness. Dr. Eyison walked students through the causes, risk factors, methods of prevention, treatment options, and crucially, how to conduct breast self-examinations. Her session demystified breast cancer and emphasized the importance of early detection, helping the students—both male and female, understand their roles in advocating for health awareness in their communities.

The campaign also welcomed Ewura Ama Jenkins, a distinguished lawyer, social entrepreneur, and Founder and Managing Director of Reformation Ghana, an NGO that promotes leadership, innovation, and sustainable development among Ghana’s youth. She delivered an inspiring talk on the theme “Your Best Product – Aligning Your Vision & Self-Image”, using her personal story as a blueprint for transformation. Her session encouraged students to look inward, identify their strengths, and build a strong self-image that aligns with their goals and dreams. Her message resonated with students and staff, creating a memorable and thought-provoking experience.

The CroXItOut Campaign, which is designed to educate, empower, and inspire young people, continues to build momentum across schools in Ghana, fostering important conversations on health, leadership, and personal development.

With support from Germol, McPhilix Foods, IBM Petroleum and YFm, the initiative aims to create safe spaces for students to learn, express themselves, and make informed life choices.

“As we engage with more schools, we’re not just giving talks—we’re shaping mindsets and nurturing a generation that’s aware, responsible, and confident in their potential,” said Julius Schandorf, Project Manager of the CroXItOut Campaign.

The event ended with a vibrant Q&A session and interactive engagement with the speakers, leaving the students of Fijai SHS inspired and informed.
