President John Dramani Mahama is currently enjoying a 67% approval rating, according to a new survey by Global InfoAnalytics.

The poll, released on March 25, 2026, shows that 26% of respondents disapprove of his performance—up slightly from 24% recorded in December 2025—while overall approval remains unchanged.

Support for the President cuts across all regions, including opposition strongholds. In the Ashanti Region, 56% of voters expressed approval, while ratings stood at 64% in the Eastern Region and 65% in the North East Region.

The survey also found that most party supporters back the President’s performance, with the exception of affiliates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

On national outlook, 65% of respondents believe Ghana is heading in the right direction, a slight dip from 66% in the previous quarter. Meanwhile, 28% say the country is on the wrong path, while those undecided dropped to 7%.

Living conditions appear to be improving for many, with 58% of respondents indicating their standard of living is better than a year ago, compared to 16% who reported a decline.

However, expectations for the future have softened slightly. About 68% anticipate improved living conditions over the next 12 months, down from 70%, pointing to emerging concerns over possible inflationary pressures linked to global tensions.
