The Confederation of African Football (CAF) may reverse its decision on Ghana’s eligibility to host Category C matches after inspecting the Accra and Cape Coast stadiums.
CAF recently revoked the Baba Yara Stadium’s certification, leaving Ghana without a suitable venue for international games.
However, CAF inspectors visited Ghana over the weekend to assess the Accra and Cape Coast stadiums at the Ministry of Sports’ request.
If one of the inspected venues meets standards, Ghana may receive temporary clearance to host the October AFCON qualifier against Sudan.
