Paris Saint-Germain have secured a spot in the Champions League semi-finals for the second consecutive year, narrowly overcoming Aston Villa 5-4 on aggregate.

After a 3-1 victory in the first leg, the French champions looked in full control at Villa Park, extending their advantage to 5-1 within the first 30 minutes thanks to goals from Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes. Although Youri Tielemans pulled one back for the hosts before the break, PSG appeared firmly on course for the next round.

However, the momentum shifted dramatically early in the second half. John McGinn and Ezri Konsa scored in quick succession, cutting the deficit to just one goal and reigniting hopes of a stunning Villa comeback. Despite creating several chances to level the tie, the home side ultimately fell short.

PSG will now await the winner of Real Madrid vs. Arsenal in the semi-final. Arsenal hold a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday.
