Vice President leads delegation to global gateway forum

Ghana’s Vice President, H.E. Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, is leading a Ghanaian delegation to Brussels, Belgium, for the Global Gateway Forum.

The two-day event, which began on October 9, 2025, brings together global leaders, policymakers, and investors to discuss ways of strengthening international partnerships and promoting sustainable infrastructure development.

Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is expected to showcase Ghana’s investment prospects, digital transformation agenda, and commitment to green growth under the European Union’s Global Gateway initiative.

According to government officials, Ghana’s participation aligns with the country’s vision to attract more strategic partnerships that foster innovation, digital inclusion, and economic resilience.

The Vice President is accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Communications and Digitalization, and the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC).

The delegation is expected to engage key development partners and explore funding opportunities that will support Ghana’s infrastructure and digitalization projects.
