Callum Simpson secured his second title win in just three weeks with a dominant stoppage over Elvis Ahorgah at Wembley Arena.

Fighting on the undercard of Azim vs Lipinets, Simpson, the British super-middleweight champion, weathered early aggression from Ahorgah to stop him in the fifth round.

Despite taking the fight on short notice, Simpson controlled the action, landing powerful combinations that eventually overwhelmed his opponent.

Looking ahead, Simpson is eyeing big summer bouts, with potential opponents ranging from top-10 world-ranked fighters to local rivals like Liam Cameron in a Yorkshire derby.

In other action, Aurel Ignat shocked Scott Forrest with a first-round TKO, while George Groves’ protégé, Lucas Roehrig, impressed with a third-round knockout.

Meanwhile, Jeamie TKV triumphed over Michael Webster in a brutal heavyweight battle, with Webster’s corner throwing in the towel after a punishing ninth round.

Simpson’s victory marks another step in his rapid ascent, with even bigger challenges on the horizon.
