President Akufo-Addo appoints COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno as Deputy IGP in charge of operations

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed Commissioner of Police (COP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno as the new Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of Operations.
The appointment was announced following the advice of the Police Council at a meeting held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

COP Christian Tetteh Yohuno, recognized for his exceptional credentials and dedication to duty, brings over three decades of distinguished service to this role.

Throughout his career, he has held various key positions within the Ghana Police Service, demonstrating unwavering commitment to law enforcement.

In a statement, President Akufo-Addo extended his heartfelt congratulations to COP Yohuno on his well-deserved appointment.

The President expressed confidence in Yohuno’s ability to excel in his new role and wished him the very best in the discharge of his duties.
