Juventus will host PSV Eindhoven on Tuesday at Allianz Stadium in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout round playoff.

The second leg is set for the following Wednesday at Philips Stadion in Eindhoven.

Juventus had an underwhelming group stage, finishing 20th with just three wins from eight games, including a 2-0 home loss to Benfica. While their defense was solid, conceding only seven goals, their attack struggled, scoring only nine.

However, recent wins over Empoli and Como in Serie A have given the team renewed optimism.

PSV exceeded expectations, finishing 14th in the group stage with four wins, including a 3-2 victory over Liverpool in their final match.

Under coach Peter Bosz, PSV is on a six-match unbeaten streak, which boosts their confidence heading into Turin.

The two teams previously met in this season’s Champions League, where Juventus secured a 3-1 win at home. Juventus will look to replicate that result.
