Ghana’s U-15 Team kicks off CAF African Schools Championship Campaign against Uganda

Ghana’s U-15 boys’ team will begin their journey in the 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship with a crucial opening match against Uganda at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

The tournament, taking place at the University of Ghana’s Legon Sports Stadium, officially kicks off today and will run until Friday, April 26.

Ghana has been drawn into a competitive group that includes Uganda, South Africa, and Algeria.

Following their opener, the Ghanaian side will face South Africa on Thursday before wrapping up the group stage with a match against Algeria.

To advance to the semifinals, Ghana must secure a top-two finish in the group.

The championship, now in its third edition, continues to spotlight the brightest young football talents from across Africa.

With national pride and developmental opportunity on the line, Ghana’s young stars will be looking to make a strong impression on home soil.
