Ghana’s capital, Accra, will serve as the epicenter of African football decision-making and diplomacy when it hosts the inaugural sitting of the newly elected Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee on April 26, 2025.
This prestigious gathering, set to take place at the luxurious Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, reflects the continent’s growing focus on excellence, professionalism, and unity in football administration.
This meeting marks the first official session of the newly mandated CAF leadership, under the re-elected President, who received nearly unanimous support from all 54 member associations. It is a pivotal moment for both CAF and the future of African football.
One of the most significant items on the agenda will be the election of CAF’s new Vice-Presidents, a crucial step toward fulfilling governance requirements and establishing strong leadership to guide African football’s growth.
The conference will address several key issues, including competition structures, grassroots development, infrastructure improvement, and new initiatives aimed at enhancing football excellence across the continent.
In addition, the assembly will serve as a vital platform for fostering continental unity and collaboration, bringing together experienced administrators from across Africa to work towards a common vision of progress.
