At the conclusion of the first round of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League, Nations FC’s Faisal Charwetey has emerged as the league’s top scorer.
The talented forward has been a standout performer since the season began, netting nine goals in 17 matches.
Although not the most clinical in front of goal, Charwetey’s consistent form has earned him a two-goal lead over Asante Kotoko’s Albert Amoah, who sits in second place.
Other contenders for the Golden Boot include Samuel Attah Kumi, Prince Tweneboah, and Nana Kwame Oppong, who are all chasing Charwetey’s lead.
As the second round approaches, these players, along with others, will need to improve their finishing to boost their chances of winning the prestigious award.
Kwame Opoku, in strong form, is another player to watch closely as the race for the Golden Boot heats up.
