The Electoral Commission has announced a change in the schedule for the 2024 Voters Exhibition Exercise.

This adjustment comes in light of the Mop-Up Voter Registration Exercise planned for August 1-3, 2024.

Originally set for earlier dates, the exhibition of the provisional voters register will now occur from August 20 to August 27, 2024.

This period will allow citizens to verify their registration details and ensure the accuracy of the voters’ roll ahead of the upcoming elections.

The EC, through a statement signed by Fred Tetteh, Deputy Director of Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation, emphasized the importance of public participation in this exercise while encouraging all eligible voters to take advantage of this opportunity to confirm their registration details.

“The Commission encourages the public to participate in the Exhibition Exercise,” it stated.
This exhibition is a critical component of the electoral process, ensuring transparency and accuracy in the voters’ register.
