The Black Princesses will kick off the new year with a training camp in Bibiani, beginning January 2, 2025, as part of their preparations for upcoming international tournaments, including the 2025 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.

The camp will consist of two player groups. The first group is scheduled to report on January 2, followed by the second group on January 6. This assessment camp aims to identify the key players who will form the core of the team for the qualifiers.

Charles Sampson, the newly appointed head coach of the Black Princesses, will oversee the camp. Sampson takes over from Yusif Basigi, who has moved on to become the head coach of Tanzanian club Simba Queens.

This camp marks the beginning of Sampson’s tenure as he, along with his technical staff, works to build a competitive squad capable of succeeding in the World Cup qualifiers and beyond.
