Mario Pasalic doubled the lead in the 58th minute, before Charles De Ketelaere extended the advantage to 3-0 just five minutes later.
De Ketelaere then assisted Ademola Lookman for a fourth goal in the 90th minute, and substitute Marco Brescianini completed the rout in stoppage time.
With 14 points, Atalanta climbed to third place in their group, positioning themselves favorably for the knockout stages.
In contrast, Sturm Graz, with just three points, are now mathematically eliminated from contention for the playoffs.
