The National Celebrations Planning Committee (NCPC) has finalized activities for Ghana’s 68th Independence anniversary, outlining a series of events to mark the occasion.
In a statement released on Sunday, February 23, the celebrations will begin with the commemoration of the 28th February Crossroad Shooting Incident on Friday, 28th February 2025.
This will be followed by the finals of a nationwide school quiz competition on Sunday, 2nd March 2025, and a debate competition on Tuesday, 4th March 2025.
According to the committee, with this new approach, it hopes to reset the interest and participation of the youth and the general populace in this significant national event whilst remembering and honouring our heroes.
