Global Citizen has announced that the 2025 Move Afrika tour will take place in Kigali and Lagos, with American singer John Legend as the headliner.
The events will be held at BK Arena in Kigali on February 21 and at The Palms in Lagos on February 25. The tour, created by Global Citizen and Kendrick Lamar’s pgLang, is designed to provide economic opportunities for Africa’s younger generations through live music.
While the tour was expected to include Ghana this year, organizers explained that the timeline needed to make an Accra show possible could not be achieved.
However, they reassured that they remain committed to bringing Move Afrika to Ghana in the future, and look forward to including the country in the tour as soon as possible.
