A film showcasing American Singer and song-writer, Beyoncé‘s Renaissance World Tour is set to premiere in North American theaters on December 1, 2023.
This was made known by AMC Theatres on Monday, October 2, 2023. The theatre chain is taking the unique approach of releasing the film independently, without any studio involvement.
The movie provides an in-depth look at the 39-city Renaissance tour, which recently concluded after a five-month run that commenced in Stockholm, Sweden, and concluded in Kansas City, United States.
The tour, following the ‘Crazy In Love’ hitmaker’s Grammy-winning album Renaissance in 2022, weaves together concert footage and captivating visuals to follow the journey of the tour. The film’s description states, “It delves into Beyoncé’s intent, dedication, involvement in every aspect of production, her boundless creativity, and her commitment to crafting her legacy and mastering her art.”
Beyonce’s previous cinematic ventures include the 2019 Netflix film ‘Homecoming,’ which centred on her iconic Coachella performance in 2018.”
