In a groundbreaking move to catalyze innovation and creativity within Ghana’s vibrant creative sector, MoTIV Africa has announced the launch of a $10K Challenge for the Creative Economy in Ghana.
This challenge aims to empower and support young innovators and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 years and 35 years in transforming their creative ideas into reality.
MoTIV Africa, based in Kampala, Uganda is an innovation hub dedicated to empowering this, and the next generation of world-class creatives.
The $10K Challenge is set to become a driving force behind the growth of Ghana’s creative economy. It provides a platform for individuals, teams, and organizations to showcase their creative projects and ideas, with the potential to receive a $10,000 grant to bring their vision to life.
The challenge offers a substantial grant of $10,000 to the winning project, providing the financial boost needed to turn creative concepts into reality.
Targeted at young innovators and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35, the challenge encourages the youth to harness their creative potential.
The challenge is open to a wide range of creative sectors, including but not limited to arts, culture, design, entertainment, media, fashion, and technology-related innovations that intersect with creativity.
Beyond the grant, winners will receive guidance, mentorship, and an all-expenses-paid learning and exchange trip to MoTIV in Uganda, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities.
The challenge is expected to have a ripple effect on the creative economy by generating job opportunities, fostering talent, and boosting economic growth.
