President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed his government’s commitment to promoting development across the country with infrastructure serving as a key pillar of national progress.
During the inauguration of Phase II of the Tema Motorway Interchange on Monday, December 2, 2024, the president emphasized that the project is a crucial part of his administration’s efforts to decentralize economic opportunities and reduce regional disparities.
According to him, the road will reduce delays and eliminate gridlocks which would bolster economic activities.
“By reducing delays and eliminating gridlocks, the Tema Motorway Interchange will expedite the movement of goods, enhance trade facilitation and stimulate economic activities” he noted.
He underscored that such initiatives are central to ensuring balanced and inclusive growth throughout the country.
