Tackle terror threats beyond slogan – Prof. Kwesi Annin to gov’t

The Director of the Faculty of Academic Affairs and Research at the Kofi Annan Centre, Professor Kwesi Annin has urged government and citizens of the country to tackle issues of terrorism threats beyond the use of slogans.

According to him, stakeholders must work to address social vices like armed robbery. He also called for the support of chiefs in the country’s counter-terrorism efforts. He was speaking to the media after the Wa West Constituency chiefs conference on dispute settlement.

The country has been under the threat of possible terrorist invasion for some months now. Neighboring countries have however been under attacks by terrorists. Citizens have therefore been cautioned by the national security to stay on guard and alert at all times.
