She Shouldn’t Delay To Know Me – Lyrical Joe Shades DELAY
The reigning VGMA rapper of the year, Joseph Gamor popularly known in the showbiz space as Lyrical Joe has taken a swipe at Media Personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay for suggesting she does not know him.
The host of Delay show was asked by a twitter commentator to interview Lyrical Joe on her show amidst the ongoing “lyrical beef” between the artist and colleague rapper, Amerado to which Delay said she does not know Lyrical Joe.
But the “Self” crooner in an interview with Jason El A on Mx24 TV’s entertainment show, Mx live on Tuesday in response said he did not see the tweet and does not see any problem with Delay not knowing him. He however urged the media personality to not “delay in knowing him”.
“I didn’t see that, it’s no problem. She shouldn’t delay to know me” he said.
The ‘beef’ between the two rappers is said to have been ignited after Lyrical Joe threw jabs at Amerado for emerging winner as the best rapper at this year’s 3 Music awards.
The two rappers have since released diss tracks and thrown shades at each other on social media. Fans of both rappers and social media users have taken a keen interest in the ongoing lyrical battle.
According to Lyrical Joe, he does not have a competitor in the rap game and believes he is the only contender.
“You’re looking at the competition sitting right here. Unless maybe we are doing something else but as long as it’s this rap thing that I know and how I do my thing in my lane … it’s not just about being the best rapper because, years ago I said this and said to myself that listen you’re the hardest rapper because when you leave LJ to rapping it’s even about fame or anything; it’s just something I love…” he told Jason El A.
Lyrical Joe further revealed on the show that Amerado does not stand a chance when it comes to rap.
He indicated that some rappers get emotional during lyrical battles and that is not style.
“When I’m going all out with you [beef] one thing is I keep it on the mic, and then when I’m coming for you, I’m coming for you” Lyrical Joe disclosed.
