Queen Elizabeth II is dead

Head of Britain’s monarchy, Queen Elizabeth II has died at 96.

Well-wishers earlier today gathered at Balmoral despite heavy rainfall after news of the ill health of her majesty the Queen where rainbow formed in the clouds minutes before the announcement.

Several members of the Queen’s family, including Prince Harry rushed to the Balmoral castle in Scotland to be by her side.

But official reports from Buckingham Palace have confirmed the death of the Queen.

Charles, Prince of Wales and heir apparent to the throne is now the King of England.
