“Our President Is A Human Right Lawyer And Advocate; We Don’t Need America’s Cut And Paste Report” – MP For Akim Oda
The MP for Akim Oda constituency, Alexander Akwasi Acquah has expressed his distaste for the US Department of State poking its nose into the affairs of Ghana.
“Don’t we know what happens in the U.S.? Or you’re a big brother so we can’t talk about them? We need to come together and expose reports like this. They are not credible. Can’t we write reports better than this?” He said.
Speaking on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma, the MP said Ghana already has Ghana already has a human right lawyer and advocate as a president hence we don’t need a “cut and paste” report.
He went on to question the criteria used by the U.S. Department of State to come up with such report which only paints the nation black, while insisting on the president being a human right advocate and lawyer.
