The French Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Anne Sophie Ave has in recent times taken a keen interest in Ghanaian music, making it possible for some Ghanaian artistes like Kuami Eugene, Stonebwoy, Kwabena Kwabena, Sarkodie and Fameye hold shows in Paris for the very first time.

This act of selfless has been so much noticeable with industry players individually and collectively applauding the efforts of the Ambassador.

Guru, a Ghanaian rapper on the 24th of April took to his Twitter account to call out the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts for their failure to the needs of creatives and put their works out to the rest of the world.

Our French Ambassador is working harder than our Creative and tourism ministry. Really appreciate her energy.” Guru tweeted.

H.E. Anne Sophie Ave in an interview with Talkertainment said that Ghanaian musicians produce quality music and thus, wishes to introduce Ghanaian artistes to her home country and vice versa.

…as a brand ambassador, I’ve got to work on that to put Ghana on the map for France and also use some French artistes to be known in Ghana.” She concluded.
