Health Ministry begins recruitment of medical & dental officers on Monday

The Ministry of Health has said it will commence recruitment of Medical and Dental Officers who have completed their House job and have been verified by the Medical and Dental Council on Monday, 12th September 2022.

It follows reports of thousands of medical professionals being compelled to stay home after completing their housemanship.

A statement signed by Chief Director of the Ministry said “qualified applicants are requested to formally apply on the Ministry of Health online application portal by logging onto http:hr.moh.gov.gh and following the instructions to select the preferred agency under the Ministry.

The statement further indicates that applicants who select the Ghana Health Service will further be posted by the Director General to regions and facilities where there are vacancies and their services are needed.

Applicants have been given a 6 days window to undertake this exercise before the deadline on Saturday, 17th September 2022.

Meanwhile the Ministry says it does not charge money for the recruitment and postings.
