Government Commences Processes to Purchase New Jet

Defence Minister, Dominic Nitiwul has disclosed that government has commenced processes to acquire a new aircraft suitable for government business.

According to the Minister consultations are ongoing with Parliament, government, religious bodies and other stakeholders for the purchase of the new aircraft.

He added that preliminary checks indicate that it may take 3 years for the manufacturers to deliver the specified aircraft to the state. He made these remarks on the floor of the house.
