Ghana current active COVID-19 case count has reached 12,422 following the recording of 1,067 new cases.

Twenty-three (23) of the new cases are severe while four others are in critical condition.

This is according to the latest update by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).

The Service has attributed the spike in cases to the numerous activities during the festive season.
